Massive congratulations to our Senior Ladies football team who won their Munster Final yesterday in Mallow 5-18 to 5-09 against Boherbue Comprehensive School.
A entertaining game which ebbed and flowed but in the end our ability to score under pressure paid off and lead to a comfortable win in the end. Special mention to our 6th years, Abi, Katie, Grace, Chloe, Mollie and Emily who played their last game for the school. Thankfully though, it ended in some silverware to round off a fantastic time with the St. Ailbe’s teams for these girls.
Massive thank you also to Mr. O’Connell and Ms. O’Connor who have been coaching the team for the last few years, and to any other teachers who have helped the girls in their progression to this point
Thanks to all the supporters that came to cheer on the girls on the day also.
