Welcome to St. Ailbe’s School.
Thank you for taking the time to visit our website and learn more about our school community. It is both a privilege and an honour to serve as Principal of St. Ailbe’s, a school with a proud tradition of education, care and opportunity at the heart of Tipperary Town.
At St. Ailbe’s we strive to create a learning environment where every student feels valued, respected, and supported to reach their full potential. Our school is built on positive relationships between students, staff, parents and the wider community, and we believe that these relationships are fundamental to student success and wellbeing.
As a school under the patronage of Tipperary ETB, we are guided by the values of Excellence in Education, Care, Respect, Equality, and Community. These values are reflected in everything we do, from the classroom to the playing field, from our extra-curricular activities to the support systems we provide for students.
We are proud to offer a broad and inclusive curriculum alongside a wide range of sporting, cultural, artistic and leadership opportunities. Starting secondary school is an important milestone, and we place great importance on ensuring that our incoming students experience a positive and supportive transition. Equally, we continue to support all students throughout their journey with us, recognising that each young person develops at their own pace and has their own unique talents to offer.
