Physics Lecture from the University of Limerick

On Thursday the 16th of January a physics lecturer from the University of Limerick came to visit our school to speak to students and make us more aware of the science courses available in the college and how physics can help us in our day to day lives.

We were asked a series of physics questions and challenges. We were told how physics come’s around in everyday life. We were astonished to find out about all the different types of physics categories and how much physics is used.

The fifth year physics teacher Mr.Clancy quoted ‘It was a useful aid for subject selection for leaving cert’. Overall the students who attended the lecture thought it was interesting.
